Career at Rockwell Collins
Tom spent 40 years at Rockwell Collins (1968–2008) as Principal Electrical Engineer in the Advanced Manufacturing Technology department. He was responsible for requirements analysis, activity and information model development of ISO 10303 standards.
He was the technical lead in the development of all four editions of ISO 10303-210 (AP 210), the electromechanical application protocol. He designed system architecture for a Printed Wiring Assembly design analysis system using AP 210 as the integration basis model, which evaluated several thousand designs in production use at Rockwell Collins.
